Pool House
This Cape Cod style pool house project was an extension of the client’s Cape Cod styled permanent home on Waiheke Island. The tricky site access paved the way for a few logistical speed bumps but that's not something we're unfamiliar with here on Waiheke. Due to the high stud and open ceiling detail throughout this project, structural steel work was required in order to open up the space.
A steep and barely accessible site combined with very heavy steel always makes things interesting. With a bit of Waiheke styled ingenuity we were able to put the pieces of the puzzle together. There was an immense amount of architectural detail in the design of the pool and pool house. Windows were imported from America for the desired authentic Cape Cod look and the installation of the windows was something different.
This project had a tight timeline and involved a number of sub-contractors, including external contractors for the pool and sauna installation. This project was a pleasure to work on and we are very proud of the end result and so are our clients.
